About home schooling

If a private institution is out of the question, the highest-rated public school is the next best thing, but most people rarely talk about home schooling.

I’ve worked most of my life as a freelance writer and have had the opportunity to get to know many students that are home schooled and who have gone on to achieve great things in life. When I speak to their parents about home schooling, they tell me that they opted for that route for a number of reasons.

The first and most important is the curriculum. There are many well-respected home school courses of study available that provide as much or more education than many public schools do, and the classes students take are always available.
