The HTC ChaCha phone is constructed from a combination of metals and plastic, giving an attractive appearance. In terms of size it is slimmer than competitors like the BlackBerry Bold at just 10.7mm, although the ChaCha is marginally larger than the Bold overall, with a wider spaced keyboard offering up individual keys. The keyboard is great to use, with a nice tactile action to each key press and a nice clean finish. The size and spacing is great if you’re used to a BlackBerry keyboard and you can be up to speed in just a few minutes. It offers a full QWERTY keyboard with each main key getting an alternate number or symbol. Across the bottom of the display are the usual touch controls for home, menu, back and search. Unlike the HTC Salsa handset there is no dedicated camera button.
