If you have the need to power electrical devices that use a lot of power, you should install a larger universal laptop poweradapter. These power inverters cannot simply be plugged into the car’s electrical outlet because they require too much current. In this case you have to run wires from your car’s battery to the laptop power inverter. The inverter that you buy will likely come with the wires and have the ends already soldered onto them.
