An article about warts on hands

There are some professional treatments and some over the counter ones. They do not all work for everyone. One also chooses to not treat their wart if it does not bother them. Whatever one decides to do, they should understand that their wart would take some time to go away-usually weeks if not months.

Warts are a common problem that many people have to deal with. They can be a big pain, especially when it comes to warts on hands or other frequently used areas. Warts are mini, benign skin tumors that are caused by an otherwise relatively harmless virus. They grow only in the top layer of skin, made up of smaller cylindrical columns that fuse and pack together tightly. Some warts may stick out several millimeters while others might be pretty flat. Children and young adults tend to get warts more frequently, but anyone is susceptible to them. If one is sick or has a weak immune system, it will probably take longer for their bumps to go away.
