I am doing a persuasive essay in my 8th grade Language Arts class, and I have chosen to do it on whether or not choosing a baby’s gender is okay or not. I am personally against it, but I need two articles- One thats for it and one that is against it.
Also, I would like your opinion. Are you for choosing a baby’s gender or against it? Why or why not. Give reasons that it would be okay and reasons it would not be okay.

Well I’m against it.

Gender chance is a 50/50 split. If there is a preferable gender from the majority, then less of the other gender will be able to be born. This would greatly reduce reproduction, as heterosexual opposite genders would be more difficult to match up.

It’s sort of nature’s way of making things all right and continuous.
